James Albert Dunn, 93, of Jonesboro departed this life surrounded by his children. He was a graduate of Pocahontas High School. James was born to the late Lovel Eric Dunn and Eunice Verneal Gossett Dunn on September 18, 1930, in Datto, Arkansas. He was a medic in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a pipeline engineer at Mississippi River Fuel Transmission Corporation.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Lovel and Eunice Dunn and his wife, Patti A. Cassidy Dunn.

He is survived by his children, Steve Dunn (Justine Liu) of Singapore, China, and Viki Dunn of Jonesboro; grandchildren Dr. Dylan Cassidy Dunn (Patrick Beall) of Melbourne, Australia and James Shaver Dunn of Shanghai, China; bonus daughter Barbara Tiefenback of Jonesboro; brother, L.E. (Mary) Dunn of Marble Falls, TX.; many other nieces and nephews, family, and friends. A special thank you to the administration and staff of Liberty Park Senior Living for their years of excellent care. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024, with Teddy Rhea officiating, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Gardens.
