Harold Ungerank

Harold John Ungerank, 82, of Maynard, passed away October 2, 2023, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
Harold was born April 14, 1941, to the late Mike Ungerank and Anna Steimel Ungerank in Engelberg. After graduating from St. Paul’s in 1959 Harold joined the United States Army. He was a farmer for 26 years and a factory worker for Waterloo for 28 years. He is a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Harold was a kind, humble, faith-filled husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family and making memories. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and playing cards.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Anna Ungerank; brothers, Ralph Ungerank, Frank Ungerank, Urban Ungerank, and Gerald Ungerank; sisters, Marie Clements, Ruth Hesse and Florence Courtney.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bernadette Baltz Ungerank of the home; children, Michelle (Steve) Yeoman of Cincinnati, OH., Tony Ungerank of Jonesboro, AR., Chris Ungerank of Maynard, AR., and Matthew (Adal) Ungerank of St. Louis, MO.; grandchildren, Ashley Yeoman and Nick Yeoman of Cincinnati, OH.; sisters, Marcella (Ed) Pasierb of N. Little Rock, AR., and Joyce (Tom) Schmidt of Jonesboro, AR.
Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2023, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held October 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Elser officiating at St. John Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
