Geraldine Looney, age 79 of Kennett, Missouri passed away, September 23, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Geraldine was born July 14, 1944, in Maynard, Arkansas to the late Gerald Akins and Ivern (Barnett) Akins. On December 2, 1965 Geraldine married Jerry Lee Looney. Jerry preceded her in death on November 16, 2013 Geraldine was a RN at Dunklin County Memorial Hospital for many years.

Survivors include: two Sons: John Lee Looney of Pine Bluff, Ar, Jeffrey Lynn Looney of Atlanta, Ga, Daughter: Sara Beth Daugherty of Kennett, Four grandchildren: Katlyn Looney Dallas, Tx, Joshua Looney-Virginia Beach, Va, Bryce Daugherty-Kennett, Kyle Daugherty Kennett, Great grandchild: Karter Boatman and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the Mc-Daniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: John Looney, Jeff Looney, Kyle Daugherty, Bryce Daugherty, Bill Heinen and Jamison Barnett. Honorary pallbearer: Chris Folkes.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
