Frederick Eugene Sorg, 72, of Pocahontas, passed away September 03, 2023, in Pocahontas, Arkansas.

He was born on August 29th,1951 in Flint Michigan to the late Raymond and Bessie (McManners) Sorg. Frederick graduated high school from Saint Paul Catholic School in Pocahontas in 1969 and was a member of the Saint Paul Catholic Church. He retired after 39 years from Esna Aerospace in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time at his cabin, and loved hunting for arrowheads.

He was proceeded in death by his parents: Raymond and Bessie Sorg and grandchildren: Taylor Sorg and Sean Sorg.

Frederick is survived by his children: Rodger Sorg and Holly Sorg Watson; grandchildren: Rodger Sorg, Misti Sorg, Kandy Sorg, Randy Sorg, and Madison Junkersfeld; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Nancy) Sorg, Tom (Nancy) Sorg, Danny (Lana) Sorg; sisters, Marsha (Andy) Baltz, Loretta (Gene) Godwin, and Kathy Holder. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, September 9, 2023, 2:00-4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.
