After a life well lived, Frances Barbara Jansen Baltz of Pocahontas passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, at the age of 98.
 She was born in Pocahontas on June 1, 1927, to the late Martin and Josephine Ungerank Jansen.
 She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas A. Baltz; sisters, Marie Conway, Catherine Conway, Elizabeth Carucci, Virginia Cenac, Jo Ann Pfeiffer and Patricia Dowdle; and brothers Joseph, Martin Ed, Bill and Larry Jansen.
 Frances is survived by her 5 children Rusty (Phyllis) of Hot Springs, Doug (Robin) of Walnut Ridge, Barbara (Mike) Seagraves of Pocahontas, Danny (Sheila) of Pocahontas and Arlene (Tim) Welch of Arkadelphia; one brother, Paul (Bonnie) of Rockford, IL and one sister, Dotty Ward of Pocahontas; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
 She was a faithful, lifelong member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. She was an avid golfer until the age of 92. She also enjoyed playing cards and other games with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at McNabb’s Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, with Father Stephen Elser officiating at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
