Elvena English of Pocahontas, Arkansas, age 92, passed away at Randolph County Nursing Home on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. She was born to Forrest and Bertha Stogsdill on November 29, 1929. She was united in marriage to Ernest Cowan English on May 3, 1952. She was a member of the Westridge Church of Christ. A lifetime member of #40 D.A.V. auxiliary. She retired from Pro Group Golf Bag Company.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son Keith English; five brothers W.J., James (Bud), T.C., Alvie and Tom Stogsdill and her Yorkie, Toby who was her constant companion.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Jones and husband Mike of Pocahontas; Karen Johnson and husband Steve of Mountain Home; a stepdaughter Susan Suggs and husband Jack of Chesterfield, MO.; Three granddaughters Jenny (Keith) Brooks, Wendy Jones, Haley (Jackson) Coates and one grandson-Brody (Jordan) Hausmann. Three step grandsons Dave (Kate) Suggs, Jay Suggs, and Michael (Jessica) Johnson. Four great grandchildren Hannah, Ethan and Luke Brooks and Sawyer Coates. Six step grandchildren David, Sienna, Abel, Riles, Treston and Barrett. A sister Carmeta Bagwell of Imboden and sisterin law Erma Stogsdill of Jefferson City, MO.; Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday October 9, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the McNabb Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00p.m. with Mike Jones and Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Yadkin Cemetery, Ravenden Springs, Ar.

Pallbearers will be Keith Brooks, Ethan Brooks, Luke Brooks, Brody Hausmann, Jackson Coates and Zane Pogue.
