MD Williams Student Council donates to Humane Society/FoPAC
The Pocahontas Middle School Student Council recently did a fund-raising project in which students paid a fee to “allow” them to wear their Halloween costumes to school. The designated recipient of the monies raised was the Randolph County Humane Society/Friends of Pocahontas Animal Control. RCHS/FoPAC was nominated by student council 4th grade representative, Ruby Duran. Pictured in center front is Netia Olvey with “Winston,” receiving the check from Ruby.
