Daniel Scott Palmer Sr., 54, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away on September 3, 2022, at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Daniel was born on January 2, 1968, in Leonardtown, Maryland to Paul Edward and Betty Louise Palmer Sr. Daniel and Juanita just celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on September 2, 2022.

Daniel is preceded in death by his father Paul Edward Palmer Sr.; paternal grandparents William Johnson and Bernice Esther Palmer Sr.; maternal grandparents William Henry and Edna Peach Dean Sr.; aunt Bernice Howell; and motherin- law Catherine “Pat” Nickless. Daniel is survived by his loving wife Juanita Palmer; mother Betty Louise Palmer; son Daniel Scott (Sara) Palmer Jr.; daughter Cynthia Renee (Trason) Johnson of Pocahontas; grandchildren Allyssa Hall, Emma Hall, Daniel “Scotty” Palmer III, Tegan Johnson, Olivia “Skylar” Johnson, and one due in April; brothers Paul Edward (Kumiyo) Palmer Jr. of Japan and Dwight Thomas (Rhonda) Palmer of Tennessee; sister Kimberly Louise (John) Ferguson Sr.; many nieces, nephew, and loved ones.

A visitation will be held in the chapel of Hope Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. After the visitation Daniel will be cremated as the means of final disposition.
