CHARLES JUNIOR RISENHOOVER

Charles Junior Risenhoover, 79, of Pocahontas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, surrounded by his family. Born on March 3, 1945, in Reyno to Johnny and Thelma Creason Risenhoover, Charles was a kindhearted soul who touched many lives with his kindness. He was a devoted Christian, beloved husband, father, and grandfather who found joy in the simple things, always putting family first.

Though he is no longer with us, his love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Thelma Risenhoover; first wife, Janice Lundry Risenhoover; son, Billy Cagle; and great granddaughter, Alyssa Jackson Charles is survived by his wife, Katherine, of the home; daughters, Denise (Jay) McNeil, Monica Risenhoover Jones, Donna (Ryan) Jenkins, and Misti (Ben) Declerk; grandchildren, Amber (RJ) Broadway, Megan (Jason) Risenhoover-Hattrich, Aaron (Tiffany) Kirby, Jessica Anderson, Derek (Cami) Passalaqua, Kelly (Mark) Blackwell, Becky (Nicholas) Degan, Hunter (Jocelyn) Ashcraft, Dillon (Alli) Cagle, Jami (Jagger) McCrary, Drew (Callie) McPherson, Savannah (Michael) Delinski, Tyler McNeil, Dalton Cagle, Duke Jenkins, and Ethan Jenkins. He also leaves behind 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 10:00 11:00 A.M. Service will be at 11:00 A.M. with Vance Penn officiating. All services will be in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Gardens. The family has chosen the following pallbearers to honor Charles: Derek Passalaqua, Hunter Ashcraft, Aaron Kirby, Drew McPherson, Dillon Cagle, Dalton Cagle, Duke Jenkins, and Ethan Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers are Archie Lively, Mark Travis, Harvey Key, Alex Latham, and Bill Coleman. Their support and presence are a testament to the impact Charles had on their lives.
