Maynard High School bass fishing team participants Jaden West and Drew Damon, along with their coach Deputy Felipe Baiza, are making waves in the Student Angler Federation Tournament at Grand Lake, reeling in solid finishes across all three days of competition.
The Pocahontas soccer sign ups have begun.You can register online at pocahontassportsandrecreation. sportngin.com or go to Pocahontas City Hall and turn in forms Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 pm. to 4 p.m. Cost is $50 per player. League is for ages 3 to 12 and goes by a player’s age as of August 1, 2025. Last day to register online is August 3 at midnight and last day to register at City Hall is August 1 at 4 p.m. There will be no late registrations accepted.
