with Mike Thompson After a hard-fought 26-21 loss to Nettleton, Pocahontas will look to get back on the winning side of the ledger this week as they welcome the Brookland Bearcats to Schoonover Stadium. Brookland sits at 1-1 on the year, with a 6-0 win over Westside in Week 1 coupled with a 28-17 loss to Gosnell in Week 2.

The Lady Redskins Volleyball Team hit the road last week taking on the Newport Greyhounds on Monday, and then the Southside Southerners on Tuesday. The Lady Redskins defeated the Greyhounds in 3 sets but fell short on Tuesday playing the Southerners.

Pocahontas welcomes the Nettleton Raiders to Schoonover Field this Friday for their home-opener of the 2022 season. The Redskins have struggled with Nettleton since this series was restarted in 2016, going 1-5, with the lone win coming in 2020.
