With the recent passing of Council Member Larry High, a vacancy has been created on the Biggers Town Council. The position will be filled by appointment at the upcoming council meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 15. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.
The Pocahontas High School Class of 2004 will hold their 20-year class reunion on Friday, Nov. 1 at the Pocahontas versus Blytheville home football game.

Jackson Tribble ran for 180 yards and 4 touchdowns Thursday, Sept. 19, as the Highland junior Rebels defeated the Pocahontas junior Redskins 34-6 at Schoonover Stadium. Tribble scored on runs of 9, 12, 49 and 35 yards.
