The Pocahontas Sr. Lady Redskins kept it close for three quarters but couldn’t keep pace in the final quarter and fell 46-38 to the Blytheville Sr Lady Chickasaws Tuesday, Jan. 21 at Schoonover Fieldhouse.
The Brookland Jr. Lady Bearcats gave Pocahontas all they wanted but the Jr .Lady Redskins managed to pull out a hard fought 31-27 victory and advance to 14-1 on the season at Schoonover Fieldhouse, Jan. 22.

Cooper Davis racked up 17 points for the Brookland Jr. Bearcats as they cruised to a 44-23 win over the Pocahontas Jr. Redskins Jan. 22 at Schoonover Fieldhouse.
The Highland Sr. Lady Rebels defeated the Pocahontas Sr. Lady Redskins 52-35 Monday, Jan. 13 at Schoonover Stadium and improved to 8-4 overall and 2-0 in conference play while Pocahontas fell to 6-10 and 0-2 in conference.
Adrienne Mahan dominated the inside and pumped in 20 points as the Pocahontas Jr. Lady Redskins improved their season record to 11-1 with a decisive 50-17 victory over the Highland Jr. Lady Rebels Monday, Jan. 13 at Schoonover Fieldhouse.
The AYSSP will hold a meeting on Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. for all students in grades 5-12 interested in joining. This will be the first meeting of the season and will be an informative meeting to learn what the sport is about.
