I stopped at a convenience store for gas. As I was paying, the gentleman in front of me was carrying his 2 hot coffees out the door. The door didn’t open and this man spilled 2 hot coffees all over his hands and arms. I was freaking out trying to find napkins and he said “It’s cooled off now, no worries” and walked out the door. I looked at the cashier in disbelief and she said “He’s fine, he’s a farmer.” Indeed.
Mike and I have reached that age where we buy one steak and share it. I see us on the fast track to being that couple that shares teeth.
Some friends recently returned from a trip to Canada, including Newfoundland. It is the home of the Newfoundland dog, affectionately called the “Newfie”.
