This school year brought a blast from the past, thanks to a new state law banning cell phones and electronic devices during school hours. In other words, our kids are living like we did in the glorious days of the ’80s and early ’90s, when “texting” meant passing folded notes and “scrolling” referred to rewinding your cassette tape with a pencil.
