Cynthia Gail Hart-Layton, 59, of Maynard passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at St. B e r n a r d’s M e d i c a l Center in Jonesboro. Cynthia, l o v i n g l y known as Ninnie and Mrs. Tubby, was born January 30, 1962, in Pocahontas to Joseph Gary and D o r o t h y J e a n J o h n s o n Hart. She was a retired school teacher having taught at Doniphan, Bay, and Couch. She enjoyed art, deer hunting, shopping, and crafting. She was a member of Old Reyno Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Ethel Hart, Johnnie and Vera Johnson, and Russell “Doc” Spencer; and aunts and uncles, Charles and Carolyn Johnson, and Bob and Mary Johnson.

R.C. Rexroad, 85, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away in his home on December 31, 2021. R.C. was born in Pocahontas, AR, on July 27, 1936, the son of Berry Rexroad and Edna Boyd R e x r o a d . After the death of his mother, he was raised by his loving stepmother, Ruby Crawford Rexroad.

After a long and full life, Benny passed away at home and on to a better place to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 8th, 2022. He wasn’t alone, Cassi and Linda were by his side, holding is hands. Shirley Patricia Crawford of Reyno passed from this life on Saturday, January 8, 2022 surrounded by her family at the age of 82. Shirley was born December 13, 1939 in Reyno, Arkansas to the late Thomas L. and Alta Overby Cherry. She retired from Clay County Electric after forty-two years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Reyno Methodist Church, where she served as the pianist for many years. Additionally, she was a member of Chapter 494, Corning Order of Eastern Star. Shirley enjoyed reading, painting and spending time with her family.
