Kathleen J. “Kathy” Hendricks, 82, of Sycamore, Ill., died Friday, Dec.

Roger Dale Romine, 62, of Pocahontas passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehab Center. He was born August 27, 1961 in Pocahontas to Bobby and Mary Eubank Romine.

Our dear mother, Ramona Faye (Barnes) Pratt, 90, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in Mountain Home. She was born February 18, 1933, in Bona, Arkansas. Ramona was a loving daughter, mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, grandmother and friend to many. In her younger days she was a beautician and an instructor. She loved doing hair, cooking, puzzles and crocheting. Ramona also had a garden all of her life, but her greatest pride was her family. She is preceded in death by her parents and a younger sister, Betty Ferguson.

James “Junior” Huitt Thompson, 77, passed away at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

Dr. Charlotte Walters Power, 68, of Pocahontas passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at St.

Gerald Kenneth (Ken) Smith, 69, of Temple, TX, formerly of Groesbeck, TX, passed away on November 19, 2023. He was born on May 8, 1954, in Pocahontas, AR, to Butler and Velma (Rice) Smith. He lived in Ravenden Springs, AR until he was one year old, at which time his family moved to West Texas. They relocated to Pecos, TX when he was in the 4th grade. Ken graduated from Pecos High School in 1972. While in high school, he met the love of his life, Regena Fahle. They married on July 25, 1974. They both graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce, TX, in May of 1976.

Peggy Jean Amann, 80, of Piggott, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Piggott Healthcare and Senior Living. Peggy was born in Supply, Arkansas on Tuesday, May 4, 1943, to Newell Clead and Inell Molencupp.
