Leroy Hopkins, 80, of Maynard passed away July 21, 2024 at home. Mr. Hopkins was born March 2, 1944 in McDougal. He was a carpenter who enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and woodworking. He attended The Well

Ora Clinton Edington, 45, of Pocahontas passed away Friday, July 19, 2024, at his home. He was born April 21, 1979, in Jonesboro to James Allen and Linda Lou Younger Edington. He worked as a farmer, was of the Baptist belief. Outside of his love for his daughter, his biggest love was the outdoors. An avid deer hunter, turkey hunter, duck hunter and fisherman. His greatest joy was in the woods. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clint and Betty Younger and Orville and Thurcie Edington. Ora is survived by his daughter, Peyton Edington of Little Rock; parents, James and Linda Edington of Pocahontas; brother, Cody (Kelly) Edington; sisters, Katie (Josh) Jenkins and Delaney (Matt) Kirkendoll; nieces and nephews, Kacey, Nick, Miles, Rylee, and Hayes; and many other relatives and friends. Visitaton will be 5:00 7:00 PM Wednesday July 24, 2024. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday July 25, 2024. All services will be held in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Honorary pallbearers are Joey Bagwell, Adam Thielemier, Adam Osburn, Wade Agee, Chris Edington and Travis Cox.
Alice Dorothy Jansen of Pocahontas passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024, at age 98. She was born in Pocahontas on October 1, 1925, to the late Bartholomew Baltz and Rosa Weisenbach Baltz.
Mary Blankenship Williams, 99, of Pocahontas passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2024 at Randolph Home. She was born August 2, 1924 in Pocahontas to the late Warren Lee and Thelma Martin Blankenship.
Charles Leon King 82, of Pocahontas departed this life on July 9, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Leon was born on February 24, 1942, to the late John Elbert Melvin King and Sybil Madine Bailey King in Ravenden Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sybil King and brother, Stanley King. He is survived by his children, Sean King of Pocahontas and Samantha Taylor of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Zac Taylor of Pocahontas and Harley Kincade, Destiny (Zac) DeClerk of Pocahontas and Sydney King of Pocahontas; great grandchildren, Chance Ennis of Pocahontas, Tripp Taylor of Pocahontas and William DeClerk of Pocahontas; nephews, Landon King and Brody King of Branford, FL. He is also survived by many other family and friends. All services will be held in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 10:00 11:00 AM on Saturday July 13, 2024, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM with Rick Kellett and Joshua Dement officiating. Burial will follow in Janes Cemetery.
Cynthia Ann White, age 69, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on July 15, 2024, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born August 25, 1954, and grew up in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Adrian L. White and Martha White. She graduated from Pocahontas High School where she played the clarinet, oboe and saxophone and was a majorette with the marching band. She moved to Jonesboro where she earned a degree in banking and finance at Arkansas State University. Cynthia was employed for many years by the State of Arkansas as a State Bank Examiner. She worked at First National Banks in both Paragould and Jonesboro. She moved from Little Rock to Rogers in 1992 and worked at Arvest Bank for 13 years in Bentonville and Rogers. Cynthia so loved and enjoyed visiting her hometown of Pocahontas and the First United Methodist Church where she attended in her youth. She loved watching the old classic movies, westerns, Andy Griffith, Little House on the Prairie, and The Waltons. She enjoyed symphony performances and Broadway musicals. She loved shopping at flea markets and antique stores and sharing special times with family and friends. Her greatest passion was rescuing and rehoming dogs or taking them on herself. For many years, she worked with Ozark Haven Animal Rescue helping with rescues in Arkansas and Missouri. Cynthia leaves behind her many friends and the dedicated and loving staff at Innisfree Nursing and Rehab as well as those at The Meadows Assisted Living where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior on June 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adrian L. White and Martha White, and a grandniece. Cynthia is survived by one brother, Dr. Charles A. White (Rebecca) of Fayetteville; one sister, Karen Blair (John) of Rogers; one niece, Lauren Bass (Justin) of Frisco, Texas; three nephews, John Brennan Blair (Jorja) of Rogers, Brian White of Fayetteville and Dr. Kyle G. Blair (Sharon) of Rogers; and several grandnephews and a grandniece. Tw

Martha Jane Kerley, 93, of Maynard passed away July 1, 2024, at Randolph County Nursing Home. She was born April 15, 1931, in the Pitman community to the late Lowell and Alda Hawkins Dismang.
