The James Ranch hosted one of its biggest weekends yet as the Arkansas Hare Scramble Championship Series returned Saturday and Sunday, drawing more than 200 riders, their families, and hundreds of fans from across several states, including Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Tennessee.
With the opening of the Maynard Cafe, the Maynard Redneck Institute for Advanced Studies gathers in solemn convocation each morning. The assembled sages address topics ranging from “good ole boy” humor to political profundity.
