To celebrate this Constitution Week, September 17 – 23, the Pocahontas Five Rivers Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution have set up displays about the Constitution at the Randolph County Library in Pocahontas and at the Lawrence County Library in Walnut Ridge. They encourage everyone to go to the library and to study the Constitution and reflect on the privilege of being an American with all the rights and responsibilities which that privilege involves.
The Pocahontas School District held the first of several community informational meetings to discuss the 2025 Millage Campaign. The district is holding these meetings to discuss questions and feedback from the community. The next meeting will be Monday, September 22 at 6 p.m. at the Pocahontas Community Center.
The Little Blue Market, owned by Luke and Emma Bergman, has opened its doors at 3549 Highway 115, offering a variety of locally sourced foods and handmade goods.
