Black Rock Church of Christ to host community fish fry

The Black Rock Church of Christ will host a community fish fry on Saturday, October 18 beginning at 5 p.m. The meal will include fish with all the extras beans, slaw as well as some other sides. Desserts will also be served. For anyone who does not care for fish, chicken strips will be available. The community is welcome for an evening of fellowship and to celebrate thirty years in their current building.

Community Outreach in Black Rock planned

On November 1, in downtown Black Rock at 1 p.m., several churches will be hosting a Community Outreach. The churches are coming together to host a coat drive, new and gently used coats will be accepted. Hot dogs and chili will be served and free of charge. There are plans for gospel music as well. This is a chance to get acquainted with the churches in the area, and sharing love and the gospel.
