Open House dates set for Pocahontas School District

Open House will be Monday, August 11 for the district. We look forward to kicking off the 25-26 school year and meeting with all of our students and parents. Pocahontas Elementary and MD Williams will be Drop-In from 1:00-6:00pm Pocahontas Junior High has an hour scheduled by grade level: 7th Grade starting at 3:00 pm 8th Grade starting at 4:00 pm 9th Grade starting at 5:00 pm Pocahontas High School has an hour scheduled by grade level: 10th Grade starting at 3:00 pm 11th Grade starting at 4:00 pm 12th Grade starting at 5:00 pm PJHS & PHS Students who cannot attend their grade level scheduled time, may attend one of the other sessions.

PETIT JURORS FOR AUGUST 18-22, 2025 TERM OF CIRCUIT COURT

Circuit Clerk, Debbie Wise, has announced the following named persons were selected in accordance with Arkansas Code Annotated 16-32-105, to serve as Petit Jurors at the August 2025 term of Randolph County Circuit Court, 2025. They are ordered to appear before said Court at 8:30 a.m. on the first day of said term, which will be on Monday, August 18, 2025, to serve as Petit Jurors.

Disaster Food Assistance (D-SNAP) relief approved for areas hit by March 14-15 and April 2-22 storms and tornadoes

Residents in areas hit by a series of strong storms and tornadoes on March 14-15 and April 2-22 may be eligible for SNAP Disaster Assistance (D-SNAP) under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, authorized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Services, the Arkansas Department of Human Services announced today.
