Circuit Clerk, Debbie Wise, has announced the following named persons were selected in accordance with Arkansas Code Annotated 16-32-105, to serve as Petit Jurors at the August 2025 term of Randolph County Circuit Court, 2025. They are ordered to appear before said Court at 8:30 a.m. on the first day of said term, which will be on Monday, August 18, 2025, to serve as Petit Jurors.
Beginning with the 20252026 school year, the Pocahontas School District will implement a new policy prohibiting student use of personal electronic devices during the entire school day in compliance with Arkansas’ Act 122, known as the “Bell to Bell, No Cell” Act.
Residents in areas hit by a series of strong storms and tornadoes on March 14-15 and April 2-22 may be eligible for SNAP Disaster Assistance (D-SNAP) under the Robert T. Due to natural disasters this Spring in various parts of Arkansas, Governor Sanders issued Executive Orders 25-08 and 25-09 extending the deadline to file an income tax return for citizens in all 75 counties. The Orders extended the deadline to file a state income tax return from April 15, 2025 to July 31, 2025.
