Welcome, Willard and Debbie Wantulok, to the Archer Realty team. This couple, who will be married 44 years this month, has five sons, four daughtersin- law, and expecting their 10th grandchild later this year.

Jones retires from Imboden VFD
Steve Jones from Imboden recently retired from the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department after 50 years of service as a firefighter and 40 years as an Emergency Medical Technician. He served as Assistant Chief of the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department for 26 years, interim chief of the Pocahontas Fire Department and Fire Marshall for the Imboden, Walnut Ridge and Pocahontas Fire Departments.
RandolphCounty manleads deputies onlow-speed chase
A Randolph County Deputy sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized following a chase near the Stokes community on Monday, Aug. 7. The incident unfolded after law enforcement responded to a domestic violence call, culminating in an armed confrontation with a suspect.

Chamber hosts reception for school officials
The Randolph County Chamber of Commerce held a warm and inviting reception on Tuesday afternoon at the historic Old Randolph County Courthouse to welcome the new additions to the local public schools. The event was attended by several members of the community, educators and school board directors who gathered to extend a welcome to the newcomers.

Randolph County JPs tourAlma Spikes property
On Thursday, Aug. 20, members of the Randolph County Quorum Court, led by Judge Ben Wicker, Tax Collector Jennifer Zitzalberger, County Attorney Ryan Wallace and several county employees, embarked on a tour of the Alma Spikes Elementary School property. The tour was conducted by Pocahontas School Superintendent Dr. Lance Arbuckle, and it ignited discussions regarding the potential relocation of some county offices, including the district court, to the ten-acre property on Highland Drive. If implemented, this move would create a large Randolph County justice complex.
