Terecia Magee, 78, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away June 11, 2023. She was born July 30, 1944 in Blytheville, AR, to John Ferguson and Mildred Ferguson.

Jo Evelyn McClanahan entered into Heaven peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2023. Born on July 31, 1926 in Black Rock, AR to the late Gertrude Smith Tillotson & William W.

She died. *Disclaimer: We-her daughters Jillian and Callan; her stepson Anthony and her grandson, Rigby; along with her husband Scott-swear on a stack of Bibles that this is all mom wanted her obituary to say. She valued her privacy and a weird joke.

Patsy Jewel Todd, 86, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away at home on Friday, June 9, 2023. Patsy was born on Sunday, November 22, 1936, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Luther and Mettie Golden.

Harold (Bubba) Finley Jr., 81, a lifelong resident of Pocahontas, died at his home with family around him. Harold was born in Pocahontas on March 1, 1942, To Harold and Lurine Finley.

Mary Magdalene Aube, 65, of Pocahontas, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at Arkansas Continued Care Hospice. Mary was born November 13, 1957, to Bernard and Wilma Murrell Machost in Jackson, MS.

Mary Alice Cray Stormes, 83, of Pocahontas, departed this life and entered into paradise, Thursday, May 25, 2023. She was born July 10, 1939 in Peach Orchard, Arkansas to the late Albert Lawrence Cray and Faye Imogean Holt Cray. Mary was a member of the Pyburn Street church of Christ since moving to Pocahontas in June 2012. She was a faithful and active Christian all her adult life and was constantly using her home and talent for the benefit of the church. She taught the 4’s and 5’s year old bible class (off and on) for 35 years. Also, during that time, she was heavily involved in a work to help procure “back to school” clothes for the needy kids at Southern Christian Home in Morrilton. With the help of Ina Brown and Helen Smith, in 2006 she started an art and painting instruction class for the church ladies plus other visitors which met once a week. This continued until 2012 when she moved to Pocahontas. She was constantly opening her home for visiting missionaries, and other guests.

Mary L. Sorg, 83, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 12:30 pm in Franciscan Health Michigan City.

Colton Andrew Johnston, 33 of Pocahontas passed away May 22, 2023, in Memphis TN. Colton was born September 20, 1989, to Jeffery Johnston and Carol Guilliams Alvarez in Jonesboro, AR.

Byron Louis Difani, 57, of Batesville, AR, died on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Byron was born on June 2, 1965, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Herman Louis Difani and Shirley Ann (Robbins) Difani. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, teacher, and principal; and his God-given ability to impact the lives of everyone he met will be felt for generations to come. Byron will be dearly missed and forever loved.
