HEAD START ENJOYS TRICK OR TREAT 1971... The Head Start children had a Halloween Party, Friday. Accompanied by Head Start personnel, the children dressed in costumes and trick or treated the homes of a few pre- selected people. They then returned to their classroom, where they were served cupcakes and hot chocolate. They also had a hat parade in which the children modeled the latest hat fashions to the tune of “Easter Bonnet”. Also helping with the serving and care of the children were Coleen Godwin, Carol Eads, Lewella Combs, Peggy Godwin, Francis Lowery, Mrs. Chester Smith, Linda Smith, Georgia Davis, Sue Rogers, Karen Thielemier, Wilene Pogue, Barbara Godwin, Kathy Miller, Mrs. Truitt, and Burl Carter.
