Beatrice Brown
Beatrice Brown, 98, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away on November 5, 2022, at Randolph County Nursing Home. Bea was born February 18, 1924, in Gum Stump, Arkansas to David and Rebecca Brown. Bea lived a full and happy life.
Bea attended school in Gum Stump, Pocahontas, and Blytheville where she graduated from high school. Bea worked in a munitions plant in St. Louis during World War II, Brown Shoe Factory, was a beautician for many years, owned United Dollar Store and was a seamstress for the last years of her life.
Bea is preceded in death by her parents David and Rebecca Brown; brothers Weldon Brown, Elmer Brown, and James H. Brown; sisters Chartie Johnson, June Byers James, May Miller, and Faye Smith.
Bea married Clifton Brown on February 3, 1945, and they lived in Pocahontas, Arkansas until he passed away in 1997., She is survived by her daughter, Casserandia “Cassey” (Michael) Crouch of Sugarland, Texas; son Hoyt Brown of Weiner, Arkansas; grandchildren Andy Crouch, Cara Crouch, Nadine Latief, and Michael Natenberg all of Austin, Texas; great grandchildren Kaya Crouch, Sybil Natenberg, and Parker Natenberg.
Bea was the last remaining child of Davey Crockett and Rebecca Brown but is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; Floyd Brown, Earlene Underwood, Thomas Brown, Dennis Brown, Virginia Miller, David Brown, Debbie Brown, Donna Brown, Dave Miller, and Wendy Malinasky.
