The Junior Auxiliary of Randolph County is collecting gently used prom dresses for their upcoming Prom Shop this March. The Pocahontas Redskins returned to competition this week after the Eye of the Tiger River Run at Davidsonville State Park was canceled due to weather and poor course conditions.

Socktober underway to benefit Together We Foster
The Imboden City Council met Aug. 11 at City Hall, where members approved July’s minutes and financials, heard reports from city departments and discussed drainage and flooding concerns raised by a local resident.

The Pocahontas High School Key Club recently visited a Kiwanis Club weekly meeting, where they had the opportunity to hear from State Representative Jeremy Wooldridge on the importance of community action. The students represented the school well and engaged in meaningful conversations about leadership and service.
