Afu Blue Manutea , 49, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at his parent’s home in Springdale. He was born June 10, 1972, in the Marshall Islands to Osage and Batlattan (Mink) Manutea.

Afu worked as a painter and sculptor and attended the Great Marshallese Full Gospel Church of Christ Studies. He was a great husband, father, son, and brother. He was always fishing, working in the flowering beds, and using his God-given artistic talents.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Aku, and two brothers, Aju and Pete.

Left to honor his memory are his mother and father; wife, Pearline Sky; sons, Malteese and Moses; daughters, Alaleenea, Ethenea, Bean, Dollie, and AfuLee; brothers, Hardey, Strappen, Gamstank, and Alexra; sisters, Kirby, Yolandae, Yolana, and Yvette, and three grandchildren.

Services for Afu will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2022, beginning at 8:00 am at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Osage Manutea. The family requests no flowers or cards but would appreciate prayer and food.
