Martha Jane Kerley, 93, of Maynard passed away July 1, 2024, at Randolph County Nursing Home. She was born April 15, 1931, in the Pitman community to the late Lowell and Alda Hawkins Dismang. She worked for Brown Shoe Company for 43 years and was a longtime member of Maynard Methodist Church. She loved being outside in her flower garden, spending time at the café and was Grandma Martha to the town of Maynard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Alda Dismang; husband, Johnnie Ray Kerley; infant daughter, Sharon Kerley; brother, Bob and Tom Dismang; and sister, Billie Johnson. Martha is survived by her children, Dennis Kerley of Maynard, Dianne Reed of West Helena, and Darrell Kerley of Maynard; grandchildren, Anna (Tanner) Johnston of Pocahontas, April (Andy) Coffman of Maynard, Ashley (Trent) Melton of Maynard, Tommy (Rhonda) Reed of West Helena, Kevin (Dana) Reed of Helena, Carol Catlett of Marvell, and Danielle Kerley of Corning; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 2 PM at Ingram Cemetery with Alma Hastings officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
