Peggy Webster

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peggy Sue Webster (Ward) who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of sixty-one. Peggy, as she was fondly known, was born on July 6, 1962, in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Opal and Cletis Ward.

Wherever Peggy went people gravitated toward her due to her beautiful smile, soft-spoken nature, and aurora of innocence. She was known for her kind heart, quiet demeanor, and beautiful red hair. She also loved and cherished her two children dearly and held a deep faith in God.

Peggy was blessed with many siblings and loved family get-togethers. We had the privilege of spending our last time together in October 2023 in Cherokee Village. We had no idea it would be the final opportunity to see our precious Peggy here on earth.

Peggy is survived by her husband Brian Webster, son Noah, and daughter Aleah of Gainesville, Missouri. Brother Ervin Ward (Carolyn), brother Gene Ward, brother Danny Ward (Teresa), sister Marilyn Kinnamon, sister Terrie Pate, and sister Betty Ward. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a lifetime of friends. Predeceased is her father Cletis Ward, and mother Opal Perrin.

Peggy is missed dearly by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace in heaven with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, loving mother, and many other departed loved ones. A commemorative celebration of life event will be held for Peggy in the months ahead.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26
