Judy was a fun-loving character who always had a good word to say about everybody, always willing to help and always had a smile on her face. She was a compassionate spirit whose passion was loving the Lord, her family, friends, and caring for others. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She was sunshine to all that knew her, was loved dearly, and she will truly be missed. Those we love don’t go away. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. What the caterpillar perceived as the end, to the butterfly, was seen as the beginning.

On January 10, 2024, Judith Simington Bennett passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on June 3, 1947, to June and James Simington.

Judy is survived by her husband Dickey Bennett, son Andy Bennett and daughter-in-law Katie Bennett, daughter Ashley Bennett, granddaughters Katelyn and Kaylee Bennett, sisters Joanne Jansen (Ben), Louise Crump (Mike), brother James Simington (Irma).
