Laura Logsdon

Laura (Virgin) Logsdon, 62, of Pocahontas, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Laura was born to the late Milburn and Edna Clark Virgin on October 2, 1961, in Pocahontas, AR. Laura was very proud of being a college graduate and a homeowner. Laura battled cancer for over four years but never lost her faith in God. She was very loved. She will be missed by lots of family and friends. Laura was a friend to many, loved listening to loud music, barbecuing, happy hour, breaking the law, spending time with her family and friends, and she loved watching all her grandbabies grow into each of their personalities. In her younger years Laura was known for her softball and basketball skills. Laura was a fighter, she never backed down.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jeff Virgin; uncle, Gene Virgin; cousins, Sammy and Diane Cox.
She is survived by her children, Amy (Jake) McGlothlin of Pocahontas, Sara Virgin (Derrick Roberson) of Pocahontas and Heather Pierce and partner Cody Moore of Park Hills, MO.; grandchildren, Kayla (Ty) Story of Pocahontas, Marine 2nd Lt. Bryce (Peyton) DeBoard of Fredericksburg, VA., Berlin Ivy of Pocahontas, Isabel Ivy of Pocahontas, Declan McGlothlin of Pocahontas and Clementine Olivia Moore of Park Hills, MO.; siblings, Steven Virgin of Mountain Home, Randy (Sheila) Virgin of Pocahontas and Allan Virgin of Pocahontas; niece, Melissa (Cody) Huffman of Pocahontas; great niece & nephew, Dakota Huffman and Beau Huffman of Pocahontas.
There will be a memorial service held Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 3:00 – 4:00 P.m. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to McNabb Funeral Home for expenses.
