Michael Keith Rowland, 57, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away at the MD Anderson Cancer Institute, in Houston, Texas, on Monday, October 16, 2023. Michael was born in St. Louis, Missouri on Monday, December 20, 1965, to Brooks Clifford Rowland and Peggy Gibson Rowland.

Michael is preceded in death by his father Brooks Clifford Rowland; daughter Larissa Jewel Rowland; and grandparents Cecil and Ethel Gibson.

Michael is survived by his son Dustin Keith Rowland of Pocahontas; daughters Shakara Lenay (Dominick) Folk of Imboden, Elizabeth Ann Beckert of Paragould, Savana McQuay of Warm Springs, and Elexis Cheyenne Gatewood of Jonesboro; grandchildren Willow and Kinsley; brother Clifford Rowland of Pocahontas; sisters Janna (Brian) Rowland Hayes of Searcy, and LeeAnn Welch and Jerrie (Mike) Moore both of Pocahontas; aunt Jane Turner; special friends Kris McClusky, Troy Grooms, Benny Johnson, and Tony Markovich; and many other friends and loved ones.

All services were held at Hope Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Michael was laid to rest at Masonic Cemetery and was honored with full military funeral honors.
