Kenneth Alan Smith, 64, of Pocahontas passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born October 11, 1958 to the late John Carl “J.C.” and Geneva Collins Smith in Tyronza, Arkansas. He was a farmer and a member of the Columbia-Jarrett Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Geneva Smith; and sister, Luann Murray.

He is survived by his sons, Lee (Rebecca) Smith of Pocahontas and Jeremy Smith of Pocahontas; seven grandchildren, Nick, Trent, Alec, Brynn, Jaxon, Nevaeh, and Zaiden Smith; siblings, Michael (Cynthia) Smith of Clinton, Phyllis Jackson of Pocahontas, Gary (Judy) Smith of Hughes, Johnny (Margaret) Smith of Hughes, Ronald (Dewanna) Smith of Pocahontas; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 10 AM – 12 PM Saturday, August 19, 2023 in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 12 PM with Bill Goode, Gary Gregory, and Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Jarrett Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as Pallbearers are David Smith, Curtis Childers, Nick Smith, Trent Smith, Alec Smith, and David Ballard. Honorary Pallbearers are Jeff Smith and Lynn Poynter.
