Mr. James “Pouge” Shelton of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 7th, 2023 @ Shaddox Nursing & Rehab in Mountain Home.

Mr. Shelton was born November 18th, 1937, in Neelyville, Missouri.

He enjoyed hearing and telling a good joke, writing poems and songs from his heart, and especially visiting, talking, and texting with family and friends. He also loved visiting with his granddogs.

His work career was varied including being a Stockbroker for Merrill Lynch, Real Estate Broker, A&M Enterprises & CPA.

He was preceded in death b his parents: Ralph D. Shelton Sr. & Ethel “Louise” (Hager) Shelton; his siblings: Ralph D. Shelton, “Jr.” & Johnny Charles “Fuzz” Shelton; his former wife: Shelby “Jean” (Seratt) Shelton; & his son: Randy Lee “Rando” Shelton. He is survived by his wife Glenda M. (Crittendon) Shelton of Mountain Home, AR; his son: David C. Bandy, (Bonnie) of Lakeview, AR; his daughter: Raye Lynn (Shelton) Doom of Lewisville, TX; Daughter- in-law Susan (Cate) Shelton of Corning, AR., his grandchildren: Lauren Shelton (Mary) of Mobile, AL., Elyssa Washburn (Preston) of Lewisville, TX., Wesley Doom (Elizabeth) of Prairie Grove, AR., Joseph Bandy (Lien) of McGuire Airforce Base, NJ., and Noah Bandy (Elizabeth) of Rogers, AR.; his great-grandchildren: Grayson, Emerson, Avery, Emma, and Finley. Plus, many of his beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at the Piggott Cemetery on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
