Eddie Sharp was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on November 19, 1951, and he passed away from his earthly body on February 15, 2023, at Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Doris, his children, Blake (Lisa Pearcy) Earley, Brent (Sheila) Earley, Lindsey (Caleb) Wilson, grandchildren, Desirae Earley, Dillon Earley, Cherie Brooks, Carrington King, Andrew Earley, Emily Earley, Caleb Earley and Vivian Wilson. He also has 5 siblings, Joan (Wayne) Gulley, Sandra (Craig) Williams, Dewayne (Gwen) Sharp, Sherry (Jackie) Martin, and Allan Sharp.

Eddie was a funny, kind, resilient, brave, loving, hard-working, Christian man. He loved being on his farm in Stokes raising dogs and cattle and strawberries. He loved to shoot a game of pool, kill a deer, and catch a fish. He was a loyal friend, a loving husband, father and grandfather, an avid storyteller, and he had a deep appreciation for life and nature.

We will always picture dad wearing jeans and a blue shirt, on a spring day, fishing on the big bank of our pond, catching largemouth bass until the sun sets.

All services were held in the chapel of Hope Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, February 18, 2023
