Randolph County Veteran, Fred Handwork, salutes the American Flag during the annual Randolph County Veterans Day Ceremony held on the grounds of the Randolph County Courthouse on Friday, November 11. Handwork served in the US Navy from 1960-1964 aboard the USS Boxer. Many Randolph County residents attended the yearly event. The names of all the Randolph County soldiers who lost their lives while fighting for the nation’s freedom were read aloud by various community leaders.
