James “Jim” Michael Barnett, 50, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Jim was born in Heidelberg, Germany on Sunday, April 16, 1972, to Randle and Kathy Chesser Barnett.

Jim is preceded in death by his wife Misty Barnett; and grandparents Joe and Nellie Barnett and Gene Chesser.

Jim is survived by his son Austin Barnett of Pocahontas; daughter Kasey Barnett of Pocahontas; parents Randle and Kathy Barnett; grandmother Clara Chesser of Maynard; and brother Jason Barnett of Pocahontas.

A graveside service was held on Monday, July 18, 2022, at the Barnett Cemetery in Warm Springs.

Honored to carry Jim to his final resting place are Killian Kildow, Mike Ogden, Bill Hopkins, Shane Haliburton, Brent Cooper, and Jeff Nelson.

All arrangements were under the arrangements of Hope Gardens Funeral Home.
