Michele Denise Blackwell, 55, of Biggers, Arkansas passed away at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Michele was born on Monday, July 10, 1967, in Van Buren, Arkansas to James and Peggy Gillet

Ṁichele is preceded in death by her parents James and Peggy Gillet; and stepfather, Robert Wolf.

Michele is survived by her husband, Creg Blackwell; son, Justin (Kayla Allred) Powell of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Canyon Lee Daniel Powell, Kinlee Jean Grace Powell, Kasen Eleven Tucker, and Cruz Justin Powell; sister, Cathy Dunnivant of Pocahontas; nephew Anthony Dunnivant; great nephew, Andrew Dunnivant; stepmother Wietta Gillet-Wolf; and special friends, Sheri “Sugar Baby” Godwin; Nancy Wahrenbrock; Teresa Klepiz; and her loving cat Romeo.

All services were held in the chapel of Hope Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Michele was laid to rest in Chesser Cemetery.
