James Henry Murphy Jr., 65, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away at the St. Bernard’s Five Rivers Medical Center on Tuesday, Monday, March 21, 2022. James was born on March 12, 1957, in Missouri, to James Henry and Fayrene Donehoo Murphy Sr.

James is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Leilani Illene Murphy; parents, James and Fayrene Murphy; brother, Bobby Joe Diller Sr.; and niece, Tina Marie Diller.

James is survived his loving wife, Vicki Acree Murphy, of the home; daughter, Danielle Nicole (Daniel Lee King) Murphy, of Pocahontas; four sons, James Michael (Rose) Murphy, Troy Allen Murphy, Kevin Austin Chamberlain, and Bobby Walter Chamberlain, all of Pocahontas; seven grandchildren, Lilliana Lynn Murphy, Allen Ray Santiago, Carmen Marie Santiago, Gracie Blayze Roberts, Milena Mae Roberts, Jazmin Janay Santiago, and Chantal Danae Parkerson; brother, David Lee (Lorrie) Henson, of Paragould; nephew, Bobby Joe Diller Jr., of Pocahontas; and very special friend, Dale Russell, of Walnut Ridge.

Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. No services are scheduled at this time.

Arrangements are under the care of Hope Gardens Funeral Home.
