Charlcie Crismon Hufstedler 1918-2022

Charlcie Crismon Hufstedler, 103, of Pocahontas passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Randolph Home.
She was born November 26, 1918 in Attica to the late William Talmage and Anna Isabelle Sago Crismon. She was a loving, and dedicated mother and aunt, was the oldest living alumnus of Biggers-Reyno School, enjoyed picking wildflowers, sewing, and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Charlcie was the last living granddaughter of Al Sago, who built the Historic Old Randolph County Courthouse in 1872 and several other buildings in the Pocahontas downtown area.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Talmage and Anna Isabelle Crismon; husbands, Charles William Burr and Jacob Foster Hufstedler; son, Bill Burr; 11 siblings, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Charlcie is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Burr of Pocahontas; granddaughter, Christina Burr Adams of New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews. Upon marrying into the Hufstedler she was blessed with two stepdaughters, Sheila (Lowell) Rose of Pocahontas and Carol (Scott) Wise of Pocahontas; stepson, Richard (Jane) Hufstedler of Ohio; many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, February 18, 2022 from 1-2 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 2 PM with Gerald Fears officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.
