Junior Auxiliary of Randolph County launches equipment donation event

The Junior Auxiliary of Randolph County has kicked off its equipment donation event, set to end on June 13. The initiative is aimed at collecting gently used athletic gear to support local youth athletes for the upcoming season. Members of the organization will be stationed at the gates during Thursday’s game from 6:45 p.m. to approximately 7:15-7:30 p.m. to receive donations. Additional drop-off opportunities will also be available following the game.

Ravenden Springs School announces date for reunion

The annual Ravenden Springs School Reunion will be held on Saturday, June 14. We will gather at 11 a.m. at the old Ravenden Springs school and will share a potluck meat at noon. Fried chicken will be provided. A $10 donation for the upkeep of the school will get you a good lunch. Kids under 12 eat free. Come and enjoy visiting with old friends and classmates from Ravenden Springs and Oak Ridge schools.
