Pocahontas Mayor Keith Futrell signed a proclamation announcing that April will be recognized as Junior Auxiliary Recognition Month in Randolph County. The Junior Auxiliary is a group of women committed to serving the children, youth and families of Randolph County. The group is passionate about making a difference where it matters most. The Junior Auxiliary impacts communities by their hands-on service projects that uplift and support, their support for local students, community outreach programs that meet evolving needs and ongoing training and leadership development to help every member grow and give back more effectively.
