Christmas is fast approaching. Here are some important safety reminders for your pets during this festive season.

It’s here—Hollywood has finally released the film adaptation of the most popular Broadway production of my generation: Wicked.

The holiday glow of Thanksgiving is starting to dim, but my fridge is still shining with its own turkey and gravy fueled brilliance. I’m talking about the mountain of actual Tupperware containers stacked inside like Tetris-none of those margarine tubs pretending to be airtight over here. The sight is both comforting and slightly overwhelming, like I’m hosting a food hoarder’s convention in my kitchen.

The other night around 1am I went to the facilities. I saw a HUGE buck and about 8 does playing in the back yard. Jumping and running, chasing each other, etc. I came back to bed and woke up the snoring man. He got up and went to the French doors with his phone camera. I dozed off and on until he came back to bed. Around 4 a.m. I woke up to use the facilities again and he’s wide awake reading on his phone. I said “Have you been awake this whole time?” He said “Always wake me up. It was totally worth it!” He’s slept in that day. I don’t know if I can stress this enough. Unless it has crashed through the French doors and is rummaging through the fridge for snacks, do not under any circumstances, wake me up to look at a deer.
