Randolph County Sheriff Kevin Bell Shares Letter Highlighting $68,000 Theft Recovery

Randolph County Sheriff Kevin Bell shared a letter of praise on social media Wednesday, celebrating the team effort that went into the investigation and recovery of $68,000 in stolen merchandise from a theft in Carmel, Ind. “This is the kind of letter I like to receive!” Sheriff Bell wrote. “A team effort between multiple agencies solved a $68,000 theft in Carmel, Ind. It also points out the value of the real-time license plate readers that are in use in Pocahontas. Great job to all the officers involved!” The letter, written by Carmel Police Chief Drake Sterling, commended the Arkansas State Police and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department for their role in the investigation in May 2024.
