Local senior swimmer wins Arkansas Gold!

Pocahontas swimmer Cari King won six gold medals at the State Senior Olympics in Conway on July 20! Her events were the 50-meter backstroke, 50-meter butterfly, 50-meter freestyle, 50-meter breaststroke, and the 100- and 200-meter individual medleys. Hendrix College hosted the meet, which qualified the top three finishers to swim in the 2025 Nationals next summer in Iowa.
