Edwina Joyce (Brooks) Prater, 86, of Maynard, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 26, 2024, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Joyce was born on January 30, 1938, to Hallie and Elsie (Redwine) Brooks.
Dimir Robert Agustus Ledesma, born in the arms of angels on June 21, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, weighing 2.2lbs and 15 1 ⁄ 2 inches long. Although Dimir was born at 31 weeks, he was very loved by his parents and siblings.
On June 27, the Pocahontas Police Department engaged in pursuit of Justin Schoenfeld, which led into the County on Nash Road. Mr.
Randolph County Quorum Court met at the Pocahontas Courthouse on Thursday, June 13 at 7 p.m. County Judge Ben Wicker called the meeting to order with seven JPs present. The minutes from the May 9 meeting were approved unanimously.
