Carter Realty is excited to announce the addition of Lynn Haskins to our team. With his knowledge covering all aspects of the real estate business, Lynn will be a huge asset to both his clients and the community. He and his wife, Jennifer, have been married 28 years and have a son, Logan. They are the proud grandparents of granddaughter, Izzy Lyn. Blast from the past…1910

“Come and get me, I have killed George Keeney,” was the message received over the telephone on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 1910, around 8 PM by Hunter Perrin, deputy Randolph County Sheriff. Further conversation revealed that the caller was Charles Pickett, who had been living with Keeney and Keeney’s wife, Susan, on the Mack farm near the Noland area in Randolph County.
