State Capitol in Review

The Division of Children and Family Services will try to recruit more foster families among health care professionals, educators and businesses. Officials of the Division were joined by the governor at an announcement to mark the first day of National Foster Care Month. The Division director said that its focus would be to find homes for older children and homes that can take in large groups of siblings.

Commodity distributions in Randolph County

The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas will host drive-thru commodity distributions in Randolph County on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 9 – 11AM or until food runs out at the following locations: Pocahontas Community Center 205 Geneva Dr. Pocahontas, AR Calvary or Missionary Baptist Church 17723 Hwy 90 W Ravenden Springs, AR Persons receiving USDA foods must reside in Randolph County. Recipients must also meet the income guidelines that have been set for The Emergency Food Assistance Program.
