REACH site opens April 2

BRTC’s Project REACH site located at Dalton has set April 2 as its reopening date. The REACH site will be open on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and every second Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through October.

St Paul Science Fair Winners

St. Paul Catholic School recently hosted their annual Science Fair. This learning opportunity synthesizes science and engineering concepts, exposes students to STEM career paths and integrates critical thinking skills. Students also practiced oral speaking skills when presenting projects to judges. Kindergarten and First Grade students competed in the collections category. Second and Third Grade students constructed models. Fourth Grade students presented demonstrations. Fifth and Sixth Grade students conducted experiments.

Celebrate National Library Week at the Randolph County Library, April 8-13

First sponsored by the American Library Association in 1958, National Library Week is a time to encourage reading and support all libraries. During this time, established patrons with overdue fines accrued at any point since the beginning of their library membership will have the opportunity for fine forgiveness. Simply bring in a picture of your pet, wear a silly hat, or slip on a pair of mismatched socks and all of your fines will be completely waived.
